Switching from Online to Desktop

Hi! New to community. I created dataasets on PowerBI online, developed reports on top and have shared with others who have successfully opened. I am on a Trial license. My company just paid to upgrade me to Pro so that I can enhance what I've started and I prefer working off of desktop. Can't seem to figure out how to open it in desktop. The download report is in gray so that isn't an option either. Is there a way to switch between desktop and online (like PPT and other MSFT apps?). Any pro tips?

If you have a .pbix file, then you can just open it in PowerBI. If you mean to connect to the datasets that are already in your PowerBI service, then you can follow the instructions here to do so.

Thank you. That's the thing I can't download the .pbix (it's greyed out as an option). And I don't see the .pbix in my OneDrive either so I can't figure out where it's storing the file to get to it.
