Hello All,
I am trying to split a column that has two different data types such as percentages (with the symbol) and whole numbers. I would like to have whole numbers and percentages in their own column. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

@JavaDaGeneral start a new blank query and paste this code in advanced editor, you can check the steps that can help you to split the columns
let
Source = Table.FromRows(Json.Document(Binary.Decompress(Binary.FromText("i45WMjRQVYrVAdJGENoYxjcwANNGUNoYRMcCAA==", BinaryEncoding.Base64), Compression.Deflate)), let _t = ((type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true]) in type table [Column1 = _t]),
#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(Source, "%", each if Text.Contains([Column1], "%") then [Column1] else null),
#"Added Custom1" = Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom", "Number", each if [#"%"] = null then [Column1] else null)
in
#"Added Custom1"
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos to whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
