Sorting is not available on visuals built on a streaming dataset

I need to sort my data by the Event time in my table, but the sort option is missing on the visuals when using a streaming dataset.

Infact most of the useful functionality of powerbi seems to be greyed out and unavailable. It won't even let me add a local model. 

I just get this error.

First of all, many thanks to  for your very quick and effective replies.

Based on the knowledge, the streaming semantic model has no underlying database, so it is impossible to use report functionality such as filtering, and other report functions.

A streaming dataset has the same limitations as an OLAP cube. no calculated columns, no measures, none of that. But sorting is possible.  What are you trying to sort by?
