Show the sum of all in a disconnected table

Hello,

I have created a disconnected table with multiple values along with a DAX measure to refer to different measures in my fact table.

ACCVALUE =
  VAR __Measure = SELECTEDVALUE(ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME])
  VAR __Result =
    SWITCH( __Measure,
      "Actuals", [Actuals],
      "BL", [BL],
      "SS", [SS],
      "Deductions", [Deductions],
    )
RETURN
  __Result

Now assuming I use ACCOUNT_NAME and this measure in a matrix, the total of all accounts is not displayed in the bottom of the table but rather a BLANK, values only show when I use a slicer and select a single account then the total of the account would show. I would like to be able to show the total based on the accounts selected from my slicer.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but please try something like below.

ACCVALUE =
SUMX (
    VALUES ( ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME] ),
    SWITCH (
        TRUE (),
        CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME] ) ) = "Actuals", [Actuals],
        CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME] ) ) = "BL", [BL],
        CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME] ) ) = "SS", [SS],
        CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( ACCOUNTS[ACCOUNT_NAME] ) ) = "Deductions", [Deductions]
    )
)

Hi @Jihwan_Kim, yes that's exactly what I needed. I couldn't figure out how to do the logic using SUMX and SELECTEDVALUE. Thanks a lot.
