Return Field Value in Matrix Hirachie

Hi,

I have a stepped department hierachy made of 7 levels. The rows display the department structure, whereas the columns display various department values. The hirachy is enabled through a pathfunction, with each department level having its own column.

My problem is that in the data table the returned values of the parent departments already includes the sum of the child departments.
If I move that data column into the matrix, it will sum the single department values as well as the already summed up parent departments, cascading its way upwards and resulting in bloated numbers.

I would like to display the field values only for each department and parent department.

The modeling is already set to do not summarize, but aparently in a matrix this is ignored and I can't disable a calcualtion.

I tried to find a measure that would return only the field values, but running against a wall beacause of the hirachy structure in the row field of the matrix.

Any help is appriciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can change Row subtotals to off under Format -> Subtotals.
