Hi,
I need to remove  and , charecters from the below column values:
EMPT     ÂÂ
and I have used the below query , but it does not work for me:
#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(#"Extracted Text Range", "Custom", each Text.Replace(Text.Remove([UNIT_STR_QTY],{"Â", "Ã"}), "#(00A0),#(00A0)", ""))
the above query gives me the below value:
EMPT‚ ‚ ‚ ‚ ‚ ‚
now If I just use the above query as :
#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(#"Extracted Text Range", "Custom", each Text.Remove(Text.Remove([UNIT_STR_QTY],{"Â", "Ã"}), {","})),
It does not work for me and it still gives me:
EMPT‚ ‚ ‚ ‚ ‚ ‚
Please help me.

You can use this extra piece of code to get rid of the ,
#"Replaced Value" = Table.ReplaceValue(Source,"‚","",Replacer.ReplaceText,{"Column1"}) in #"Replaced Value"
Goodluck! 🙂
Yo can split the column from the first à and remove everything to the right of it.
also this will work:
#"Replaced Value" = Table.ReplaceValue(#"Changed Type","Â","",Replacer.ReplaceText,{"Column1"}), #"Replaced Value1" = Table.ReplaceValue(#"Replaced Value","Â","",Replacer.ReplaceText,{"Column1"}) in #"Replaced Value1"
for the particular example given. If you have a more variety of data, please show a little more so i can adjust my methods.
