Relationship between Sharepoint CreatedBy field and group membership

Hi all,

I got a SharePoint list "Orders" and two SharePoint groups.

Any user who can create an order belongs to one of the two groups.

I want to know the average of the created items based on these groups.

Scenario example :

There are 10 list items on the list "Orders".

4 items created by users that belong to the first group (Group 1), and 6 other items created by users that belong to the second group (Group 2).

So i'd like the report to display : 40% Group 1 - 60% Group 2.

Is there any way to achieve this ? Any idea ?

Best regards,

Phils

Well, do you have the members of each group in a table in your data model?

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Thanks for your answer,

I was unable to create the members of each SharePoint Group in a table, so i created two lists instead and added the users.

Yes i have members of each group in a table in my data model but i don't know how to check the provenance of created items (if it's coming from user in group 1 or group 2).

I have created a relationship between tables :

Orders       Group 1
AuthorId *:1 user's id

Orders       Group 2
AuthorId *:1 user's id

The only formula i have for now is to calculate the number of rows in Orders table.

I'm new to PowerBI so i'm sorry if i can't be that concise.

Above is the result of my report but i'd like to display 80% Group 1 - 20% Group 2 instead of this.

I don't really want to add a new column (Group) in the Order table..

Any help would be appreciated,

Best regards,

Phils
