This is my first time creating a dashboard that enables parameterization. I created a merged query from two tables (Violations and Volume) and only got the Client column from each query and removing the duplicates to make the ClientList query. Now, when I try to make a new parameter, I find that several queries are missing from the list (including the ClientList I made specifically for this purpose). The Violations and Volume queries are combined Excel files.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Make sure you've converted the column to a list in Query Editor.
