Hello Everyone! 🙂
I am to new Power BI, i had few doubts regarding the creation of maps in the dashboard.
Currently one of the map based charts looks like the below. It is the UAE map based on the various communities. i need to further drill down into a single community and show certain data points. i also have the latitude and longitude of the data points in a single community.
For example,
Community | Longitude | Latitude | Reading |
A | 55.19 | 23.23 | 1234.4 |
A | 55.18 | 23.22 | 1000.4 |
How possible is this in Power BI and if yes, how can i achieve it?
Any guidance on this would be great!

Hi @fatehalialpha ,
As Shailesh2thakur said, creating a Slicer is indeed a viable method, but I would like to make an addition.
I created a table based on the data you provided and converted it into a Map view.
You can choose Drill through option to zoom in on the information.

You can use a slicer for community field, while keeping the extent of the map unlocked
