Hi, I have created a page in my Power BI Desktop report to with some R visuals.
These visuals use R packages that are not supported in the Power BI Service, so I have used Page refresh to trigger the underlying scripts. However, the page refresh doesn't seem to be working. The page refreshes only with manual refresh.
This is what I see in the Page Refresh details:
Is there anything I can try to fix the issue?
I have already cleared the cache and refreshed all queries...
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @amitchandak,
It's a mixed model... two out of three of the visuals in the page are only connected to the DirectQuery data source, the third one also uses fields from Azure Tables.
Also: this page of the report is hidden.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi @Alienvolm ,
If your visuals reference Import tables, this behavior is expected. Automatic page refresh isn't supported for Import.
For more limitations, please refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-automatic-page-refresh#considerations-and...
And please add on-premises gateway for your dataset.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz

@Alienvolm , Is it a direct query model? It works only with the Direct query model
