Modify a calculated column from input in a visualization

Question for the knowledge base.

Is there a way to modify a calculated column from input in a visualization:

Further to my question.

"Calculated columns are calculated at load and not affected by slicers and report interactions. You need a measure"

So I would need a measure such as:

Volume (new) at selected customer and selected location  = volume x selected %Change

Actually that there is a alternative workaround for your initial problem:

First of all, create a measure to store the value of increase or descrease:

For example, -50%:

INC/DES = -0.5

Then add a calculated column:

Column = 'Table'[Volume]*(1+[INC/DES])

The result is as follow:

You can modify the measure to change the value of the DES or INC.

I appreciate your reply. That is what I previously had in my model.

A  table that created the 'step change'
[ Step_Change = GENERATESERIES(-.20, .20, 0.005) ]

then a slider based on a measure

Change Value = SELECTEDVALUE('Step_Change'[Step_Change])

and finally the volume change :

Volume Scenario = SUMX(Volumes, Volumes[Vol] * (1 + [Change Value]))

but....that changes all the values for all customers, across all locations, on all dates

I was looking more to change just "one customer" at "one location"

See, I'm trying to stress test different manufacturing facilities....using the idea, of what doe total volume at x facility look like if customer y increases it's volume by z%
