Maximize Sales Using Sales Price and Lbs Sold History

I would like to find out what my best LBS to Sale Price ratio is.

I have very detailed sales history but to put it simply, it looks like this:

Product Code     Sold Price     LBS Sold       Invoice Date

12345            $5.00          100.00         1/5/17

12345            $4.95          110.00         2/3/17

12345            $7.00          54.00          2/14/17

12345            $5.10          110.00         2/18/17

I THINK I want to have a graph that shows a Min Sold Price/Max Sold Price line on top of an area chart that shows the LBS sold at that price.

The idea is to know the price when my sales would start to diminish, particular during certain seasons.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated! I'm open to any ideas as well as I may be completely off with what I need.

Thanks!

You could have Power BI Create a custom column which holds the LBS to Sale ratio.  Create a formula like:

LbsToSale = [LBS Sold] / [Sold Price]

Now you have a list of Dates, product codes and pound to price ratios.  If you graph this, you can then start to see where your best and worst points of time are.

Thanks Ross. It helped me get closer to what I was looking for!

Thanks again.
