Loading new Power BI software and design and table views are black = not able to be seen

I just downloaded the newest PBI desktop version and I cannot use it. I think the software might be functioning but I cannot see anything but only the data model screen. THere seem to be some echoing of data and sceen tips with my cursor but nothing else. I am attaching screen shots. Can I go back a version? I need to demo PBI to an online class on Monday!If I move the cursor I can find textI think there is data theredata model view is OK

I seem to remember that PBI Desktop uses Internet Explorer to render the display. Do you have IE Installed?

It seems that if I download and install the 32 bit version then things run as they should. I do have a Surface Pro 4 and I usually run the 64-bit version. I am not sure what would make the 64 bit version act like it does. I have Internet Explorer 11 running ...
