Investigating Unexplained Growth in Power BI Dataset Size

Hi all 
I have a Power BI Desktop file published to a premium dataset that has quadrupled in size over the last four months.
I'm certain that neither my data nor my scripts are responsible for this unusual increase in size.
Is there a tool or method available that can help me compare the old version with the new one to understand why this increase occurred?

yes, you can download the file from the service and give it a new name.

open the file in Power BI Desktop, then use DAX Studio to connect. (if you do not have DAX Studio, download for free from sqlbi.com)

In the Advanced menu, select View Metrics.

There is a list of tables and columns that you can examine for size. Compare this to the other pbix file that is smaller.
