Our organization has an extremely large amount of data in a mysql db which we wish to use in PowerBI (over 70gb). We wish to do so without burdening the db as we require regular hourly updates from the db. Should we create another server and load the data in a .csv file to import in Power BI or directly import it from the db. Any assistance will be appreciated.
Thank you.
@Danyala23 , You can create a MySQL slave(follower) and load data from there to power bi. That is what I have done in past.
But the choice is yours based on cost and other factors.
