How to make a textbox or a slicer stay on top of a shape and be visible?

Hi,

On my PowerBI dashboard, I have a rectangular shape in orange colour, and I would like to have a date slicer on top of the orange shape.

The problem is, even if I drag the slicer on top of the shape (Figure.1), once my cursor moves away, the shape is back on top again and hide the slicer (Figure.2)...

Figure 1. This is what I want to achieve, the slicer stays on top of the shape.

Figure 2- The shape always hide my slicer behind.

I am wondering if there is a way to make the slicer stay on top of the shape, and be visible?

Thanks and much appreciated for any suggestions.

In this way the slicer will be always on top of the rectangular box and it will not disapper even if you remove the cursor.

Let me know if this helps.

Hello,

What you can do is select the orange box and put it at the back from
select the box---format---send backward

Similarly for the date slicer
select the visual---format---bring forward

Thanks,

Hi @SanikaT ,

Thanks for your speedy update. I had a look at the format, but couldn't find the options to bring forward or send backward. Could you please send me a screenshot where to find it? I am using powerBI desktop.

Thanks very much.
