How to change x-axis interval for scatter plot

Hi All,

I have created a scatter plot and the values for my axis are 12,24,36,48,60,72. However, in scatter plot the x-axis is determined automatically and the chart looks like this:

Can someone please suggest how can I change the intervals to multiples of 12 from 0 to 72 instead of the current intervals in multiple of 10.

Thanks!

Hi, @sonam7

Check the type of the x-axis of the format

If your is continuous, change it to by categorical.

I created a simple sample to illustrate this

Sample:

Is this the result you want? Hope this is useful to you

Hello,

Unfortunately, I cannot change my x-axis into categorical values because for y-axis I want to display all the points instead of aggregating them using a aggregation function.

Can I not change the interval while having the x-axis as a continuous variable?

Thanks!

Hi, @sonam7

As far as I know, changing the X-axis to a category value will not change the display of the Y-axis value. If you want to change the display of the Y-axis value, you can change the Y-axis value field or the Y-axis property.

Or, please share your sample pbix file's link here, then I can try to look into it to come up with a more accurate method.

Even I have similar kind of query

I need to fix the scale on x axis.

Is it possible to customize this way on a scatter plot

@sonam7 , I doubt you have the option for that if x-axis is based on a measure
