How to add External Tools in Power BI

I couldn't see External Tools in my Power BI desktop, how can I add it as per below dump screen. Many thanks.

Hi,

I looked at the link External tools in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn. Its a corporate computer where I dont have admin rights which makes things more difficult. But it seems that I dont have any Power BI desktop folder in the  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Power BI Desktop\External Tools 

Can it be that the installation put things in another folder structure? I have Power Bi in this folder structure C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Power BI Desktop

Could that mean that the External tools folder should be in that folder structure instead?

Hi Thennarasu, This is the 1st time I use Power BI, so I don't know how to plug in All Tools into Power BI desktop. Would you mind tell me step by step I need to do. Many thanks.

Many Greg, I install DAX 3.0.5 on my PC and I also restart my computer but I still cannot see External Tools in my Power BI with DAX is under External Tools as per below dump screen. When I open DAX studio, I also link it to Power BI but it doesn't seem working. What can I do?

@Vanessa_Tu Download any external tool and install it. The installatin should take care of putting the correct files in the correct places and then Power BI at the next restart will recognize that external tools are installled and provide the tab.
