Hi @Anonymous

if you dont want to create any additional columns use technique with grouping values https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-grouping-and-binning

create 2 groups: F - for female and M for male

Hi @az38

Creating additional column or Creating Group, which one is best practice to improve performance of the dashboard?

Thanks

@Anonymous

i would recommend to create calculated or even custom (power query) column, it's more simple data storage type
