Grouping the count of components

Hello Friends,

I am working on building a PBI dashboard for some KPIs.

By using distinct count measure i have calculated the number of components under a particular product ID (Table 1).

Product IDNo of components
jbfr15
kszq16
ir8114
1omv15
ejxd18
p0hn18
dmbq15
odhq16
37di19
v2x918

The count of the number of components are of different types (Table 2)

ComponentsComponent type
xxType 1
xyType 2
xzType 3

I would like to have a table which shows the count of the type of the components

 For example:

Product IDNo of components
jbfr15
Type 110
Type 25

Can someone help me how to create this dax measure?

Thanks and regards,

Chaithanya

Please don't do that.  Data duplication inevitably leads to user confusion.

Instead, let the data model do the work for you and use a matrix visual to show the product/component hierarchy.

Hi,

You have just shared the result you want, not the raw data tables.
