Gauge not showing an over budget value

Hi,

 

This is my first time asking a question in Power BI community!

 

I am wanting to use the gauge in Power BI to illustrate if a project (either total spend or spend by category) is going over its budget.

 

The screenshot lists the sample data I am using and an image of the gauge. 

The total budget is $17,500 and $18,700 is being spent - this is an overspend of $1,200.

 

Can anyone suggest how I can get the gauge to work as intended with the sample data please? Are there any good videos on YouTube or elsewhere that someone could suggest which would help me achieve this please?

You can adjust it as you want in the formatting option, they put it randomly based on your data

Hi @Idrissshatila thank you for your suggestion. When trying this method, the cost is still doubling (screenshot below):

When putting the sum of est cost into the maximum value, it totals correctly however is still not quite what I am trying to achieve:
