Extract Month and Year from DateTime field to get MMM-YY

I have a date column As of Date in my table Status, I need to extract month and year from this column. How do I do that

customDate = FORMAT ( 'TABLENAME'[Date], "MMMYY" )

 

create New Column and use above

You could also add a custom column in Query Editor.

Date.ToText([As of Date], "MMM-yy")
