I am trying to use the search function in slicer and there is an error whatever I input.. I am using Power BI desktop.. can anyone help? The Power BI desktop is the lastest version, thank you

Please check the Oracle version. Due to you use Direct Query to connect to Oracle, search option will cause query from Power BI to Oracle.
One common cause for the error is that Power BI DirectQuery requires Oracle 12 or above. If that's not the case for your Oracle server many Power BI generated PL/SQL queries won't work.

@phchu1226 , Seem like some issue with datatype of this one, does the database datatype support search?
I doubt that, but there can be few other reason
The search function of slicer is able to use while I am using import mode.
Is the search function of slicer support direct query mode??

Delete this slicer add again and try.
