Don't refresh page when selcet the row in second matrix

I am new to power bi.

In the page, I have two matrix, Matrix1 and Matrix2.

When I select RowA of Matrix1, the Matrix2 will show the result which is filter by RowA from Matrix1.

However, when I am trying to select RowB in Matrix2, the all page refresh.

Matrix1 will auto deselect RowA and Matrix2 will show the result without filtering.

What I want is filtering Matrix2 by the RowA that I select in Matrix1.

And I need to select / heightlight RowB in Matrix2 for easily distinct RowB from other rows in Matrix2.

Is there any way to reach that?

Here is my example data

Matrix1

RowAdataAdataA-2
Row1-1 data1-1data1-2
...............

Matrix2

..................................................
RowB dataBdataB-2many columnmany columnmany columnmany columnmany column..............

I'm not aware of another solution for this particular situation. Once you set up the interactions, the users just need to use the control key. You can utilise the visual header tooltip or create a help dialogue box to provide these instructions to the end users.

Hi @steventengtcc ,

Sounds like you want to Edit the Iteractions of the two matrixs so 1 filters 2, but interacting with 2 has no effect on matrix 1? If this is the case see this page it will details how you can set up this behaviour: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions?tabs=po...

Not only interacting with Matrix2 has no effect on Matrix1.
Also keep Matrix1 filtering Matrix2 when I am interacting with Matrix2.

Now, when select Row of Matrix2, the page will refresh and the filtering from Matrix1 will be erased.

Hold the control key when you interact with matrix 2.

Thanks for your answer. It works
Holding Ctrl when interact with Matrix2 can keep filter from Matrix1.

But it seems to be not straightforward.
Especially, when setup the report and turn the report to users.......

Is there any other solution?

I will trying to create a tooltip for user.

Thanks for solution and suggestion.
