Wondering if anyone has come across this issue before and found a solution. I'm working with a dataset with a live connection and the date column is showing as General Date in the model view but when the field is dropped into a table, it's displayed as Long Date. The dataset itself has the column listed as type date.
How can I get it to display as mm/dd/yyyy? I don't believe a measure can be a reliable workaround since it requires some kind of min/max on the date correct?
