Data source credentials & auto refresh for mysql with power bi

I want to sync mysql with power bi : auto refresh

Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.

Hi @ysalih ,

If I understand correctly, it seems that you would like to refresh the report with the data source MySQL automatically. But you get some error message... MySQL is on-premise data source, and the gateway is required. You can refer the folloiwng official documentation to configure schedule refresh:

Manage your data source - Import/scheduled refresh

And the following links are the threads which has the similar problem as yours, hope they can help you solve the problem.

Scheduled refresh has been disabled.

Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials.

If the above ones can't help you, could you please provide the following necessary information to help make a deep troubleshooting

  1. Besides the data source MySQL, is there any other data source in the dataset?
  2. Did you enter the correct credentials for the data sources of the report?

Looking forward to your reply...

Best Regards

@ysalih

In PowerBI service (web PowerBI) you should go to the report --> Settings --> Datasets --> Data Source Credentials

Then check which source has issues with the credentials...

Also worth checking the Gateway connection
