Creating a new measure

Data.png

This is my data and I'm trying to fetch the day from this date like Monday, Tue, etc. So far I have tried this formula

OrderDay = FORMAT([Date], "dddd"). but it's not fetching the date column from the table and also tried writing the table name before [Date] but was unable to fetch that.

Try the below measure.

Month = FORMAT(SELECTEDVALUE('Calendar'[Date]),"DDDD")

Create a date table. In your date table, create a new column, "Day." Use that same formula you have.
