Combo chart where "legend" measure affects the lines, not the columns

I need to make a combo chart which displays monthly data for one measure from current year and previous year on two separate lines, and the YoY growth rate in the columns. Ordinarily this would be done by putting "Year" into the "Legend" field, but doing this causes the columns to be broken down by year rather than the lines.

Is there any way to accomplish what I need?

As far as I know the default visuals won't do this. You could look at custom visuals in the market, R or Python visuals.
