Hello everyone! I am reaching out because I have a table visual in a report with valuable metrics. Along with totals at the bottom that work. However, when I try to filter down on the report with a slicer, the slicer, works on the visual, however the total does not change with it. Is there a reason for this? I'd like the total numbers to change too.

Hi @PrivateAnalytic ,
First of all, many thanks to for your very quick and effective replies.
Based on my testing, please try the following methods as workaround:
1.Create the simple table.
2.Drag the month field into the slicer visual.
3.Select the slicer to filter the table. The result is shown below. The total is changed with slicer option.

Wisdom Wu

@PrivateAnalytic it seems the issue is dax calculation.
Based on header which says "Closing Count" and "Close" i suppose that dax is taking latest value, closing balance or something like that. So whenever you change slicer, dax is looking for "latest" value.
If it was measure that is using sum, avg or count aggregation, it would impact totals for sure.
You could share dax calculation, it would be easier to analyse the issue.
