CREATE A CALCULATED TABLE BASED ON IF STATEMENT

Hi all,

Just want to ask for help regarding this. I would like to create a calculated table based on if else statement.
I want to get those two columns from different tables if mergekeys = mergekeys. Please see attached screenshot.
Thank you in advance.

This would best be done through an inner-join type merge in Power Query.

Hi @ronaldg ,

Do you really need a calculated table?

You can also do a relationship between the two tables .

I was actually trying to create a virtual data model that's why I'm trying to create a calculated table.

Hi @vicky_ , appreciate it. Would this also apply if the data source is live data? I mean, if new data is being added to the data source(excel file)

Yep - the merged table will update with new values each time the data is refreshed.
