ABCD classification:

I need to do an ABCD classification:

A >0.7
B >0.9
C >= 1
D Values with negative results

I need to measure the value of sales, and the # of products in each category

I've been editing the SQLBI ABC pattern for a long time but I can't calculate the number of products in each category

@chulymda I was going to point to you SQLBI ABC analysis and if you follow that it should work, not sure why it is not working for you.

@parry2k :

    The SQLBI pattern is not intended for a category with negative values (D). I'm sure editing the code correctly should work.

It is what I am not achieving I need help with that!

Hi @chulymda ,

Why there is negative results in your data? The class was divided by cumulated sales. Would you please try to modify the abcclass code to :

AbcClass =
SWITCH (
    TRUE,
    CumulatedPct <= 0,"D",
    CumulatedPct <= 0.7, "A",
    CumulatedPct <= 0.9, "B",
    "C"
)
