I'm trying to create an embedded if statement which combines a letter ("M" or "N") with a field. I'm getting an error with "If". I also tried it in conditional columns. Any ideas? Thank you
If ([Home College] = "MVC" ,
Concatenate ("M", [RecentRCCDCode]),
If [RecentRCCDCode] = "NC" , Concatenate ("N", [RecentRCCDCode]),
[RecentRCCDCode])
Please first read the following rules on writing correct DAX: Rules for DAX Code Formatting - SQLBI. The DAX as written right now is not correct and hence very hard to read.
Is the above formula a formula in a calculated column? Or a measure?
