I went to publish a report to the Data Stories Gallery and it rejected by URL: https://app.fabric.microsoft.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiNzFmNzY2ODEtMGIyZi00NDY2LWI2ZjMtYmEzNTQ1Mzg0YWQ0Iiwi....
The URL works, but the validation seems to only allow https://app.powerbi.com/. New publish to web URLs start with https://app.fabric.microsoft.com. If you replace the "fabric.microsoft." with "powerbi" it will work, but I imagine a lot of users will be confused and not realize that is a workaround. Please update the URL validation to also accept the Fabric URL that the service now generates.
Hello @Meagan,
Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention. It has now been resolved and either https://app.powerbi.com/ or https://app.fabric.microsoft.com may be used for the "Power BI Publish to Web URL".
Thank you for your valuable contributions!
Best,
