Workspace list view - content owner

Hi all, in the list view of a workspace, the owner for each type of content (report, semantic model, etc) is listed as the workspace name.  For example, if the workspace is called "HR Analytics", the owner of all content is listed as "HR Analytics". Is there a way to force Power BI to show the actual name of the person who owns the content?

I notice the same issue. For example the semantic model owner is not shown in the workspace list view, instead it is the workspace's name. In Some cases (especially fabric artefact like data pipeline or lakehouse) the name of the owner is shown in the list.

I also can not find information about that "owner" attribute that the list view shows. Documentation is usually referring to the "owner" that is shown in the artefact settings.

Hi @saunders ,

In Power BI, each content such as a report, dashboard, or dataset has an owner. The content owner is the person who created and published the content to Power BI12. However, the owner’s name might not be directly visible in the list view of a workspace.

As a workaround If you want to display your actual name, you can only change it from the username you use to log in to your Power BI account.

Best regards.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what you mean by change the user name. In any case, I just realised that it works for Dataflows and for spark notebooks. In other words, Dataflows and Spark Notebooks show the actual name of the owner. For semantic models and reports, it always shows the workspace name.

Do you know if Microsoft plans to fix this?
