Hi All
I have a report where the week beginning day is set to Monday.
I do this in a calender table.
When I publish the report to PBI service, after the first scheduled refresh the week beginning day changes from Monday to Sunday in the online version of the report.
I have a slicer that slices by week based on the week beginning date and it changes from the Monday to the Sunday for a given week.
Does anyone know if there is a setting in PBI service that is over ridding my PBI desktop week beginning setting.
thanks
Hi
I am working in GMT.
So my week beiginning in PBI desktop is Monday.
I have a date column in my calender tablw which I duplicate and use transform data -> transform -> Date -> Week -> Start of Week
This gives me a week start date of Monday.
Why does the Monday start date chenge to Sunday when I publish to PBI service.
thanks
James

The Power BI service is running on UTC. Depending on where you are in the world that can result in the day shift you observed.
