Unable to change the chart format in Power BI reports

Hi there,

I am new in Power BI and have a basic question. There are a number of charts of different types that I've defined based on the data sets imported from Excel files. Currently all charts have the default titles or no titles by default. Based on what I've read we can change the chart formats using the 'Format' section.

I can access this section in Edit report mode, but all the formatting attributes are locked. For example I can see there is an On/Off switch for tht Title, but I cannot change it. Is it a permission issue? How can I get around it?

Hi! if you can turn on edit mode and see the pane you should be able to change the options. If you're still having isssues please let us know and we can debug!
