Hi,
Have a workspace and when publish app a test viewere can see the reports in app (i..e when reports and datsets in sawm workppace)
They have access to the app but not for he workspace and this works o.k.
However have aother workspace( workspace b) which just has reports and these reports are built from datasets in workspace a,
and publish the app the test user cannot see the app.
ow can we resolve this best?
Thanks
Hi @po
Can you confirm that the user has got the permission in the App?
And that the user also has got permissions on the dataset to read the dataset?
Hi,
Yes test user has app permissions but they don't see the app listed.
This app has reports built from another worrkspace and they have viewer acccess on the workspace with teh datasets.
If we had an app which built from workspace which had both datasets and reports they woudl see the app when we checked but we want to have the following
1 app which has pubished from workpace called reports and these reports are built from workspace called data which has the datsets in it.
How can this best be achieved?
Thanks
Hi,
Just to let you know.
The checkbox install app automatically not set on publishing app thus ahd to go get apps as that user to explicitly see it and now all o.k.
