We’ve tried to set up Service account as Dataset owner for few reports in Powerbi Service. These report have scheduled refreshes every day.
We’ve observed that, after setting up service account as Dataset owner. Refreshes have multiple failures.
Has anyone faced this issue before. If yes, any solutions for same.

Could you please provide more details? What is your data source? Whether the gateway has been configured? If a gateway is needed, is there a data source configured after using service account to take over?
What error was reported after the refresh? Could you please provide a screenshot with the error.

What's you rationale for setting the service account as the dataset owner? If it isn't email enabled then refresh failure notifications cannot be delivered, unless you add other emails to the notification.
