I've a dataset with RLS configured on region. When a user sees a report they see data for their region as expected. There is a country field too in the same table as region. When the user performs drillthrough using country, he sees all the countries in the region instead of only the country for which drillthrough was performed. I see the same behavior when testing RLS in PBI desktop. When I test the drillthrough page without RLS, the drillthrough filters apply perfectly and only the country from which drillthrough action was performed shows up.
RLS configuration is overriding the country filter in the drillthrough page which is unexpected. The 'keep all filters' option is active on drillthrough page but still country filter doesn't take effect. This looks like a bug. Note that the country filter takes effect on the main page as expected.

It looks like the issue resolved itself. This may have been due to browser cache but the filtering works as expected now.

Hi @Anonymous
It sounds to me that possibly the RLS is not correctly configured. Is the RLS completed on the same table which has got the combination of the country and region?
If they are in seperate tables and the country and region are not related this could explain why it is not working when using the country.
