I shared dashboards I created in Power Bi, on a workspace, in Dynamics 365 sales hub.
Initially they worked perfectly, just working as in interactive dashboard. If you wanted to ope in Power Bi, all you had to do was click on open in Power Bi. Now as soon as you click on anything on the dashboard, it opens with Power Bi.
I really do not want it to open in Power Bi, but work as a dashboard in Dynamics.
Wanted to share that we are getting the same issue as the original post.
1. The moment you try to view the power bi dashboard inside Dynamics 365, it will start as blank until you scroll the page then the dashboard will start to load.
2. Click anywhere in the dashboard would result in a Power BI pop window to appear, showing the same dashboard.
The result is users are not able to interact with the embedded dashboard directly, they are forced to interact with the pop up window which is confusing and annoying for users. This only started happening in the week of Oct 2. Around the same time as the original post.
We have raised a ticket with Microsoft 3 days ago but no solution from them yet.
Thank you for confirming what I am seeing.
I thought it might be becasue I had recently given all users Power Bi Pro licenses, so I took the license away from a user, and it still did it, it just issues them a temporary license.
Please update if you get a resolution from MS.
Hi @KeithBass
I don't really understand. The dashboard you share was created in Power BI Service, but you don't want to open it in PBI Service, then your access link can't be related to PBI Service, it has to be related to Dynamics.
