Power BI report to stop the refresh if it takes more than 45 mins.

I have power bi reports which sometime take more than hour to refresh , which ideally shouldn't. My requirement is , if there is any way we could stop the refresh if it takes more than hour ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

There  is no way to stop a refresh mid-stream.  If you are in the Desktop, you can only do the ctl-alt-delete trick and end task on Power BI.  Of course, this can lead to its own issues - unsaved, unrecovered or even corrupted files.  The only way in the Service is if you are using a Gateway is to restart the service - again there is some potential there, but it is less likely, for corruption.
