Greetings,
We have a user who currently has Power BI Free, and we bought a license to upgrade him to Power BI Pro. When he logs in, he still sees the trial license and not the pro license. We have added the pro license and removed the trial license in the admin console. How do we force his workstation to recognize the new license? The trial license expires in one day, and we do not want to lose any of the work he has done. Also, he has tried logging on to other workstations, and they show the trial license.
Thanks!
Hi, @UnityMMorris
Can I ask whether the user's license has been successfully turned into a professional license, if so, that would be great😀.
It should be noted that the trial license will not automatically become a professional license. Even if you have already purchased a professional license, the key step is that you need to assign the purchased license to the user in the Admin center.
Enter the Admin center and manage user licenses under Users. Assign the appropriate license to the user. Maybe there is a network delay, the user re-login, refresh the page, then the user can get the license.
Hope this helps.

@UnityMMorris , If you are using 60 days trial, it should take up a license after that. Make sure license is already appearing records.
Also take backup pbix, by downloading them
