Power BI Application - how to make a document in Sharepoint display in content area?

Hello,

We are creating a PBI application in a workspace and are adding several links to Excel, ASPX and PDFs that are generally on Sharepoint.  The docs do not display in content area - need to open in new tab or existing tab - which is much less user friendly.  Is there a way to get these links to display in app content area?

As far as I know, Power BI doesn't support this feature, during the investigation we saw that there are users who may have had a similar experience as you, you can check if it helps you with your problem.
