Hello,
We have a PBI data model which was created using desktop version of app. The data model connects to our SQL Server db which is accessible via Gateway. The location of our SQL Server database has changed so we need to point the connections to the new SQL Server database. I was hoping to add a new data connection directly to the web but it appears we need to do this on the desktop and then republish? Is there any way we can just add the data connection on the web and then - from data model settings - choose the new data source? I can't figure out how to do this.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi @dancarr22
You should have planned to add Query Parameters when first built your pbix. So for now, you have no other way than to do it on the desktop and don't forget to create Query parameters in case SQL server is going to change again.
