Group dates and times by ranges

Hello,

Hoping someone can help me to understand how to group from dates-to-months and times-to-a-range of times. Here are my tables from my datasets:

I am hoping to finish my counts with the Hour that they occurred in, and again the month that they occurred in.

Hi @jakepetersen91,

From above screenshot, it looks like you have gotten the Count value based on time and based on date. What do you mean 'group from dates-to-months and times-to-a-range of times'? If there existing a date column in source table, and you want to count based on a different date/time range, maybe you should create a calculated column to first show the range.

Please provide more detailed sample data from source table to show us all necessary fields. And provide more description about your desired output, if possible, show an image.

Regards,
Yuliana Gu
