Hi,
I have data with the date format in MM/DD/YYYY. I use the date field for a date range slider as well as the default date hierarchy for some visual drill-downs.
The report using this field is global and will be viewed by people from different regions of the world. What is the proper configuration so that when someone in another country (say Europe) views the dashboard in the web application, their slider and default hierarchy drill-down shows in DD/MM/YYYY?
I tried testing myself (in US) by changing my Chrome browser to default in German, and then in PBI app settings to use default browser settings, but it still only showed in MM/DD/YYYY.

Actually it's a great idea. However, I'm afraid the date format is decided by data model in power bi desktop, not by the language or region of the browser. I would suggest you to submit your idea here to help improve power bi.
