Hi Guys,
I made a report based on a semantic model in Onelake (Sales Prod). I am the only one that has access to the Sales Prod semantic model.
Now when I publish my report to our workspace and give users in my organization permission to view my report, they get this error, while im seeing the data just fine. I also gave them all the permissions I could on the Sales prod V2.3 semantic model and report.
Could it be the case that because they have no permissions on the "Sales Prod" semantic model, they cant see the data? And is this fixable without giving them permissions on the main semantic model.

Hi @Nick2F ,
When you publish a report in Power BI that is based on a semantic model, the visibility of the data in that report for other users is directly tied to their permissions on the underlying semantic model. If users are getting an error stating they couldn't load data for the visual, it's highly likely due to insufficient permissions on the "Sales Prod" semantic model.
Ensure that the users have at least Viewer access to the "Sales Prod" semantic model.

@Nick2F Did you find your solution? I have a similar problem. My "Date table" is separated in another semantic model in another Workspaces... I have to grant a "viewer" to all reader on that extra Workspaces...
Do you have better solution? Thanks in advance
