I'm unable to delete a gateway administator, after the user has left the company. It's not hurting anything by leaivng the users in the list, but it's uneccesarily cluttering the list of administators to the gateway. Repeated attempts to remove the users does not work and I recieive the error below.
Error says:
@Anonymous Hmm. I just tested this and it worked. I wonder if it has something to do with if the AD account is active (I tried with an active user).
@Seth_C_Bauer - it is only for users who are inactive/left the company. I assumed at some point they would just drop off the list, but they still appear (been longer than 6 months for some of the users).
@Anonymous Users won't just disappear from end user tools, be it Power BI, Reporting Services, etc. These end users will need to be removed manually. It sounded like the issue was that you couldn't delete them? If that is the case, and it worked for an active account, I would work with my AD admin (have him activate the account -> I try to delete the user -> deactivate the account again)
If I read the issue correctly.
@Seth_C_Bauer It may not be as easy as re-activing and then deleting the users on my end (corporate audit/access control processes and all that). I may have to submit an ticket with MS to help remove these users. Again, it's not hurting anything per se', but it's definetly unecessary clutter.
