Hi,
We want to use Azure Maps in Power BI only for a limited amount of users of a department. In the Tenant settings the use of Azure maps can only be enabled for the whole company. Not for a limited amount of users or AD-group. Other Tenant settings can be defined by AD-groups.
Is this option planned for Azure Maps in the near future ? Or maybe there is a workaround available?

Hi Isaac, thanks for your answer. We only want a few Power Bi developers to make use of Azure Maps in reports. All other developers are not allowed to use Azure Maps in reports. Ik hope Microsoft will enable AD-group controlled use of Azure Maps soon
As far as I know, Azure Maps can only be enabled for the entire organization in Power BI. There is no option to enable it for a specific group or subset of users. However, you may be able to use Power BI's row-level security feature to limit access to reports or dashboards that contain Azure Maps visuals. This would allow you to control which users can see the data that is being displayed on the map.
Another option could be to embed the map visual in a web page outside of Power BI and control access to the page using authentication or other security mechanisms.
Best regards,
Isaac Chavarria
