I'm importing data to power bi through a python script where I get the data from an amazon api but it don't let me schedule its update.
Can anyone help me?
This is fine, but can you screen the model in power bi desktop, and confirm any other sources ?
If you go to the workspace does it have the credentials required ? No issues or errors ?
this is the model screen
Can you screen lineage view in pbi service ?
Unsuppoted data source, can you screen me the model and confirm what each source is ?
The Data is a csv on Amazon S3, and I use a python script to extract that data.
can you expand the view detials on the error message please.
Can you refresh in desktop ?
Can you also confirmed you created a new "Pro" workspace in service ?
Yes, I can refresh in Power BI desktop, but not in Power BI service.
And I created a new workspace.
I'd suggest create a new workspace, publish there and try again, I don't think "My Workspace" allows scheduled refresh from what I remember.
I think I have found where the error is, but i don´t know how to solve. In power BI desktop I update and it detects it, but when I click update in power BI service an error occurs, without updating
I`ve tried it but it still gives the same error.
Ok, I will try
Is it published to a workspace or "My Workspace" ? What type of licence do you have ?
It is published to My Workspace and I have the pro licence (On trial).
You set scheduled refresh in service, not in desktop....
Go to the workspace where the dataset is published, click the settings, then Scheduled Refresh.
There I get that error.
"You cannot schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources do not support refresh: Query1 data source"
Scheduled Refresh for a certain time ? Or can you use power automate ?
Here it should appear another option called Page Refresh, but I don't know why it doesn`t
